Cheltenham School District has tapped Ms. Ashley Pullum and Ms. Diane Rodriguez as the new supervisors of special education. Pullum will serve as supervisor for grades 5-8 and Rodriguez will fill the position of K-4 supervisor.

For its annual celebration of learning, the Glenside Elementary School kindergarten classes enjoyed our third annual Community Helpers Fair.

Glenside Elementary’s third grade classes participated in the “wax museum” project this week. Students dressed as their hero and memorized a speech about their life. Students brought their heroes to life by choosing a pose that best embodied them. When someone from the audience came up to them and pushed their button, the students awakened and recited the speech before returning to their pose.

Thanks to P.A.W.S. for hosting Glenside’s Diversity Festival on Thursday evening. The event included more than 10 stations highlighting everywhere from Spain’s Basque Country to Sicily and Togo, and everything from pasta making to finger knitting.
